Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Capttiv, a hosted service for running a hardware or building-supply store. By creating a store you agree to them on behalf of your business.

Your account

You are responsible for the people you give access to and for keeping passwords private. Tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

Your data

The products, stock, customer and sales records you put into Capttiv belong to your business. We process them only to provide the service, and you can ask us for a copy at any time.

Trial and plans

New stores start on a free trial. Pricing for plans is agreed with you before the trial ends; the service is not charged automatically during the trial.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the service for anything unlawful, to store data you have no right to hold, or to try to access another store’s data.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and your data backed up, but features are released in stages and some are marked as coming next on our homepage.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados.
